I read some reviews of a dog kennel recently. While most of
the reviews were positive, one person noted that, “when we got to the facility,
the dog was wheeled away to another building and was surrounded by cremation
ovens”. This, to me, seemed odd. Multiple
ovens? Really? Is business that good that they need more than one cremation
oven? Is the writer sure she didn’t take the dog to Pizza Hut? (They have
multiple ovens.) Of course all this happened and she still let the dog stay
there overnight...
Speaking of pets, in
the wintertime we dress our dogs in cute sweaters, often in pretty colors, don’t
we? While initially attractive to the eye, these colors, like the ovens noted above,
are disturbing. Why is that, you ask? Well, the dogs cannot see the colors! Shouldn’t
we all be a little more considerate and dress our pets in grays and blacks? C’mon
folks. A little sensitivity maybe?
