Correction

From time to time we issue corrections here at Uncle Tommy. We get feedback from you, our readers across the globe. Recently we wrote about the presidential bowling alley, located in the basement of the White House. Well it turns out that it was built, not by Richard Nixon, but by President Harry S Truman. So, this was built in the “post-bomb” era of the late ‘40’s –early 50’s, which made sense. People were building fallout shelters in their homes. So Truman maybe thought, “why not have one in the White House, only let’s make this one fun!” So yeah, don’t feel too bad for President Trump having to spend time in his “bunker” last week…

Next time Trump comes to a press conference in a bowling shirt and funny shoes, you'll know where he's coming from!
