Jeepers, Creepers, Where'd You Get Those Peeps?

Did you hear about the guy who recently bought the expired Quaker Granola from Walmart? Yeah. It was in the news. The cereal “use by” date was 1997. So yeah, the guy took it home, put some in a bowl, poured some milk on it, and FINISHED THE WHOLE BOWL. He said it “tasted a little funny”, but yeah, he finished the whole bowl. 

Now, I think what we have here is what former President Obama would refer to as a “teachable moment”. I think what we learned here is that maybe Granola isn’t really very good in the first place. If the 21 year old stale stuff tasted like the “fresh” stuff, can the “fresh” stuff really be that good?

Now might be a good time to go and check the expiration date on those Peeps you got this morning.
