My wife and I were traveling recently and it was a beautiful day so we were out for a morning walk. The trees were beautiful although we thought we may have been about one week past the peak color display. On our walk we ran across a plaque honoring a man who had made some significant medical discovery of some sort and had in turn made some substantial financial contributions to the community. All this was inscribed on the plaque. But one sentence on the plaque caught my eye and didn’t seem to fit in with the rest of the inscription. It noted that the man was a medium. Wait. What?
Including the size of the man just didn’t seem applicable to the importance of this man and what he had contributed to that community…
